|Trainees must understand and apply knowledge of the anatomy and  embryology of the eye, adnexae, visual pathways and associated aspects of  head, neck and neuro anatomy. It extends to applied anatomy relevant to  clinical methods of assessment and investigation relevant to ophthalmic  practice. They must be able to use this knowledge when interpreting clinical  investigations and in the practice of ophthalmic surgery.&lt;br /&gt;
